Dubai logs real estate transactions totaling more than Dhs12.7 billion.
During the week ending on September 17, 2023, a total of 2,329 real estate transactions with a combined value exceeding Dhs12.7 billion were reported by the Dubai Land Department (DLD).
The DLD's report revealed that 549 plots were sold, generating a total of Dhs4.25 billion, while 1,780 apartments and villas changed hands for a combined Dhs3.94 billion. The most notable transactions included the sale of a plot in Marsa Dubai for Dhs622.91 million, another plot in Business Bay that fetched Dhs180 million, and a third plot in Marsa Dubai that sold for Dhs150 million.
Al Hebiah Fifth led the week's sales with 123 transactions valued at Dhs527.18 million, followed by Madinat Al Mataar with 113 transactions amounting to Dhs542.17 million, and Madinat Hind 4 with 111 transactions totaling Dhs161.9 million.
In the apartment and villa category, the top three transfers involved an apartment in Al Barsha First that sold for Dhs88 million, another apartment in Palm Jumeirah that changed hands for Dhs75 million, and a third property in Al Thanayah Fourth that was acquired for Dhs64.5 million. The total value of mortgaged properties during the week reached Dhs3.88 billion, with an additional 165 properties granted to first-degree relatives valued at Dhs670 million.
The total worth of real estate and property transactions for the week ending on September 1, 2023, amounted to Dhs24.7 billion, encompassing a total of 3,223 transactions. This included the sale of 235 plots for Dhs1.82 billion and 2,302 apartments and villas for Dhs4.87 billion.
The most significant transactions in that period involved the sale of a piece of land in Al Thanayah Fourth for Dhs209 million, followed by another land sale for Dhs135.56 million in Al Barshaa South Third, and a third land transaction in Al Barshaa South Third for Dhs104.03 million.
Al Hebiah Fifth also led the sales during this week with 73 transactions valued at Dhs310.15 million, followed by Madinat Al Mataar with 38 transactions worth Dhs135.97 million, and Madinat Hind 4 with 38 transactions amounting to Dhs55.38 million.
