Unveiling Dubai's New Superhigh-Rise Hub: Twin Towers Take Center Stage in Downtown District
Is Dubai’s Uptown District the city’s newest high-rise hub? It appears so, as new ones are introduced and the first Uptown Tower nears completion.
After seeing impressive sales numbers with its first project, the “UH by Ellington,” Ellington Properties launched its second and third projects there, close to the JLT cluster.
The newest, Mercer House, will add four penthouses to the mix of opulent apartments. The twin towers of Mercer House will share a podium, though the height and ground plus storey numbers are unknown. A substantial 25,000 square feet of retail space will be available, along with a 25,000 square foot “beach club.”
“In just two decades, DMCC has not only built and facilitated a world-class, award-winning district for trade and enterprise, but evolved the JLT and Uptown Dubai districts into some of Dubai’s most desirable destinations,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and CEO of DMCC.
